LIGHTS. CAMERA. ADD ME!

ANTELOPE VALLEY AND NORTH LOS ANGELES COUNTY RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES:

The beauty of our valley, the ease of permitting regulations and the receptive attitude of our community has made the Antelope Valley an attractive filming destination for many production companies across the world. There are ample opportunities for local residents and businesses to get involved in the movie industry. The entertainment industry is fast-paced and demanding, but there are opportunities for fun, bragging rights; and revenue.

FILMING LOCATION

A Filming LOCATION can be a parcel of vacant desert land, office building or space, a school, roads, a house with unique features -- basically any place that can be used to tell the story of a movie or a TV show in a real-world experience. On-location filming is providing a favorable economic impact to the Antelope Valley and Northern Los Angeles County. Along with the dollars spent at local businesses, the film industry will pay to use YOUR property.

ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY RESOURCE

A Filming RESOURCE can be any local individual or business that provides products and services to the entertainment industry. A film production is made up of people who need stuff just like any other consumer. If you have products and services that are available to the general public, then individuals and companies in the entertainment industry are potential customers for you. Showcase your products and services.

BEHIND-THE-SCENE FILM CREW

Filming CREW are the people who work behind-the-scene to make sure all technical aspects of the production are working smoothly. You must have specific training and/or experience to register as CREW for the entertainment industry. For some CREW jobs (e.g. construction, pyrotechnic), you may be required to have a current and valid State-issued license.
